The role is for a Part-Time Medical Education Coordinator (Remote). Interested applicants can send resumes directly to mwalters@iridiumce.com.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Education Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and accreditation of our continuing medical education (CME) activities. You’ll join a friendly, supportive team in a fully remote role with flexible hours — ideal for someone who is organized, self-directed, and interested in academic medicine. Training and onboarding will be provided; candidates with experience in healthcare administration, office management, accreditation, credentialing, education coordination, healthcare marketing, or similar administrative and operational roles are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage CME activity setup from intake through close-out, including upfront planning, learner needs assessment, and post-activity reporting
  • Prepare, audit, and maintain ACCME accreditation files in our CME management platform; support internal reviews and external surveys
  • Compile and analyze outcomes data; prepare summaries for leadership and accrediting bodies
  • Coordinate grant submissions and track requests for proposals (RFPs), including deadlines, supporting documents, and follow-up
  • Draft and send faculty invitations; manage disclosures, contracts, honoraria, and logistics
  • Manage audience generation vendors for program posting, promotion, and performance analytics
  • Maintain and post content to program social media channels to promote activities and engage learners
  • Format presentations and educational materials in PowerPoint, Word, and Canva to a consistent, professional standard
  • Serve as a liaison between faculty, planners, sponsors, and administrative staff

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience creating professional presentations and educational materials using Canva, PowerPoint, and related digital platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines independently in a remote environment
  • Comfort learning new platforms and workflows with structured onboarding support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Prior CME experience strongly preferred; however, candidates with experience in healthcare administration, compliance coordination, office management, credentialing, education administration, or similar operational and administrative roles are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with ACCME accreditation standards and file auditing
  • Hands-on experience with a CME LMS platform
  • Experience working with audience generation, marketing, or analytics vendors
  • Comfort managing social media platforms for professional or educational programs

What We Offer

  • Fully remote, work-from-home position
  • Approximately 15–20 hours per week, with some variability around program deadlines
  • Structured training and onboarding — we’re committed to setting you up for success
  • Friendly, collaborative, and supportive team culture
  • Compensation: $30–$38/hour, commensurate with experience

How to Apply

Please send your resume and a brief cover letter to the email address provided with this posting. We will review applications on a rolling basis and respond directly to candidates being considered.

No recruiters, staffing agencies, or third-party submissions. Direct applicants only,  unsolicited outreach will not receive a response.
